Rahman-Gautham | Another Project with Ajith
After seeing ultimate star Ajith at the Aasal audio launch, speculations are spreading like wildfire about his next movie with ace director Gautham Menon. The star's stylish crew cut gave rise to speculation whether this would be a police story. With Gautham directing, this could be a good guess. (Gautham's police stories Kaakka Kaakka with Suriya and Vettayaadu Vilayaadu with Kamal Haasan were huge box office hits.)
Now, Ajith's 50th film with Gautham Menon produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri is believed to be a police story too. Ajith has played a cop in Anjaneya, but the film was not too successful, so we hope it’s time Ajith tastes success in a thrilling cop story. Sources close to the actor say that Aasal heroine Sameera Reddy will again team up with Thala for this venture.
There are also reports that the film is based on a sensational criminal case in 1980 and Ajith will don the role of the investigating officer. This film will have one more highlight: music by the Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman. The Rahman-Gautham duo has already come together in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, which is slated for a February 19 release.

A R Rahman Bags 2 Grammy Award
Rahman reached an exceptional milestone at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards here Sunday, A.R. Rahman won two Grammys for his music from Oscar Award winning film “Slumdog Millionaire.”
The maestro got two nominations at the 2010 Grammy Awards. He won the first Grammy for the best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture, the second Grammy for his song “Jai Ho” in the best motion picture song category.
Last year Rahman won two Oscar awards for his music in “Slumdog Millionaire”. In, 2010 he repeated that in theGrammy awards.
Congratulations to “The Mozart of Madras” A.R. Rahman!
“This is insane, God is great again,”Rahman said as he accepted his second award before a VIP audience.
