AR Rahman Says Kashmir Matchless
Srinagar, Mar 07, KONS: Oscar-winning Indian music director, AR Rahman, arrived in Srinagar on Monday in connection with a forthcoming Bollywood film being shot in part in the valley.
Rahman headed straight for the tourist resort of Pahalgam where Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Rock Star is being filmed by a noted celluloid banner.
The music director appeared overwhelmed by the scenic harms of the valley’s countryside, saying that Kashmir was “matchless” in its beauty.
“Every inch of Kashmir is beautiful. It is a big draw for the film industry,” Rahman told the CNS.
“The valley is an asset for the Indian film industry, and film-makers must come in droves to shoot here,” he said.
